Hi there lovelies!
Now, if there’s one thing I’ve learnt since becoming a blogger, it’s that there are so many different views and guides on how to do something a certain way- whether it’s how to apply mascara, how to gain blog traffic, or how to work out. I don’t believe there’s any right way of doing something that works for everyone, and I certainly think that’s the case when it comes to maintaining curly hair. I feel like mine is different to a lot of other peoples’ curly hair, but I have to accept that that’s okay.
Looking after curly hair when you’re busy and don’t have a lot of time on your hands (mostly to let it air-dry) is really difficult, and something I’ve found a real struggle since working full-time. Here you’ll find my tips on what I do to make the best of a bad situation when there just aren’t enough hours in the day to have perfect curls, and also what methods I’m planning on trying to get my hair back in lovely shoulder-tossing condition.

Hello lovelies and Happy belated Easter!
I hope you had a great time over the Bank Holiday weekend, whether you were celebrating or not. It was a much-needed break for me as I am still tired a lot from work despite leaving my waitressing job- being an adult is hard! I have the utmost sympathy if you had to work over the Easter period- believe me, I’ve been there many times. The unexpected beautiful weather was a massive bonus, and I was the first to grab the sunnies and get my legs out! I took a lot of photos over my 4 days off, so I thought I’d share them with you!

With Easter just around the corner, I have the not so difficult task of deciding what I would like. I know not everyone does gifts, and will just opt for the usual Easter egg or bypass the event altogether, but I always get a little gift from my mum and dad and from my grandma. I love chocolate as much as the next girl, but I never get round to finishing an Easter egg if someone buys me one, so a few years ago we decided it was better to get a gift that would last, but to the similar value of a chocolate egg.
So, whether you’re looking for Easter gift ideas for someone in your family, thinking what you can ask for yourself, or just feel like treating a friend without breaking the bank- here’s my little wish list! View Full Post
I was thoroughly ready to embrace Spring the other day, and now the grey, drizzly weather has hit once again- dammit! I bought some beautiful tulips last weekend to brighten up the flat (and use for blog photos- shhh!) so at least I can feel Spring-like from the comfort of my sofa whilst it pours down outside.
This is my first ever ’empties’ post, and I’m excited to share with you all which products I have completely used up because I can be quite fickle and desert a product for a new one before I’ve finished it! View Full Post
Hello my lovelies!
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d share with you my gift guide, for those of you who want something a bit different for your special mum, without breaking the bank! This is more of a fantasy gift guide, because my mum always knows exactly what she wants, which although very efficient sort of takes the fun out of finding the perfect gift for her! So these are the things I would love to get for my mum, if I hadn’t already bought her gift… View Full Post
