Cabana Trinity Leeds Raspberry Caipirinhas

What’s the best way to celebrate finishing your degree? Unlimited cocktails, delicious food and live music, I hear you say? You would be right. A few months ago (yep, sorry about that) after doing a presentation on my independent project in front of all my tutors, I was officially D.O.N.E with my degree, and feeling pretty awesome. The lovely Kayleigh had been invited to the #RoadToRio event to launch their new lunch menu at Cabana in Trinity Leeds and I was so grateful that she asked if I wanted to come along with her. Who could say no to a free celebration, Brasilian Barbeque style? View Full Post

Oh hi lovelies! It’s me, actually blogging ohmygod I can’t believe it.

So whether or not you’ve noticed my two-month absence from the blogosphere or not, it’s been a bloody long time and although it may be a slow return because I am still a busy little bee, I am so excited to be blogging again! A fair amount has gone on in my life since I last blogged, so it’s safe to say it’s going to be a bit more than a ‘little’ life update- brownie points and an extra large cup of tea and a biscuit for you if you stick this through till the end… View Full Post

Hi lovelies!

I wanted to write a post today about the temptations we face every day as bloggers and blog readers. This has been a big thing for me since I started blogging and reading other people’s blogs, as I have started to notice that the desire to eat clean, look after my skin more, get out and do new things, and buy certain ‘blogger favourite’ products has popped up almost out of nowhere. Obviously, we all get envious when we see celebrities endorsing amazing products, and the results of their rigorous exercise and eating regimes, but when we see ‘normal’ people living similar lives but in a more relatable way, that envy is multiplied 10x because it’s something that seems much more attainable.

Prepare for a wordy, rambly post (apologies…)

Feeling Meh title pic

With Autumn fast approaching, the British weather has been somewhat disappointing of late. The knicker-flinging excitement of the hot OMG let’s put floaty summer dresses on and sunbathe now weather we had in July is long gone, and I don’t know about you guys, but the inbetweeny-ness of it all makes me feel a bit meh. Of course we’re all entitled to this feeling whatever the season and even if your life is super-duper charmed, even if you’re the Queen, there are times when you just feel a bit icky and you can’t really explain why.

This is probably my least favourite feeling like ever because you don’t even know why you feel that way. All I know is that there are a few little things that I sometimes do when I’m feeling like this and it makes me feel a thousand times better.  View Full Post

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOVE my Apple products. I am a sucker for my iPhone and Macbook, and if I could afford it I would have the entire product catalogue at my fingertips. BUT I am fully aware that they are not the cheapest, most accessible products on the market, especially with the iPhone 6 on Pay-As-You-Go costing in excess of £550 (not that I would ever pay that- contracts are my friend).

When I was offered the chance to trial the Microsoft Lumia 640 smartphone, I was pretty excited. It’s not every day that, as a small-time blogger, you get to trial fancy gadgets for free, and I was curious to give up my trusty iPhone for a couple of weeks to try something totally new! View Full Post
