Hello Stationery Addicts!
I thought this was the perfect day to share my next instalment of Stationery Addicts Anonymous with you all to celebrate World Stationery Day! All you addicts can come out of your Paperchase-induced comas and shout proudly from the rooftops of your love for stationery today- so let’s make the most of it!
As all my posts this week are stationery-focused, I wanted to make sure that this Stationery Addicts featured brands that I have only recently discovered, or ones that you may not have heard of. First up…
I came across the New York City phone case in Barnes & Noble in New York, and I wanted it so badly but it cost over $30! I loved the style of the illustrations used on their designs, and I stumbled across the brand again on my favourite stationery blog Paper Crush. The colour schemes and themes they use are just my style- focused on all my favourite cities including New York, Paris and London.
1. I’m Kind of Awesome Guided Journal // 2. Wants/Needs Perforated Pad // 3. Why You’re So Hot Fill-in-the-blank Journal // 4. What To Pack Horizontal Pad //
5. Things I’ll forget to remember Keyboard Pad
All I did to find the vibrant and fun brand Knock Knock was Google ‘quirky stationery brands’ and a new love was conceived. I love their ideas such as the Wants/Needs pad, and the What To Pack pad– I’m always that girl who can’t relax when setting off on holiday or on a trip because I’m so paranoid I’ve forgotten something! The range is perfect for buying gifts from, because there are so many unique ideas such as the I’m Kind of Awesome journal.
1. Best of British A5 Notebook // 2. Iwako Shaped Erasers // 3. Think Factory A5 Sewn Notebook // 4. Alice Tait Stickers // 5. Trendline Silhouettes Notebook // 6. Bulldogs A5 Plain Drawing Pad // 6. Post Card Memo Pad
I have loved Blott for a couple of years now, since they opened a store in Trinity Leeds, but never actually bought anything from there until recently (shameful as a stationery addict, I know). Their Iwako erasers (also sold in Paperchase and other places, but they make a much bigger thing out of them here) are just adorable- the miniature animals and food are right up my street! The bulldog designs they have are relatively new and I just love them- unfortunately, they don’t sell it in my usual A5 lined notebook *cries* However, they do have many more gorgeous notebooks to choose from, plus quirky ideas such as the Post Card Memo Pad.
I love my first ever Blott purchase- the Trendline Silhouettes Notebook! I keep it in my handbag, so when blogging or list inspiration strikes I can dig it out and jot anything I need to remember in there. It’s great! The cover has an unusual but lovely smooth texture, and although the pages are plain it comes with a slot-in grid page to keep your writing in line.
I was introduced to Polly’s wonderful design brand by Rhianna, as she is currently giving away one of the notebooks in her birthday giveaway! I love the handmade typography and illustrations featured on all the products, and the quirky slogans like the double-sided pencil case (I definitely would have had this when I was at school!) I am in love with the hot chocolate phone case, because I adore hot chocolate and want to be reminded of it every day- who doesn’t?
I hope you’ve enjoyed being introduced to some of my new favourite stationery brands, fellow addicts! And that you’ve been able to indulge your stationery addiction this National Stationery Week- if you can’t do it now then when can you? Take a look at my other #NatStatWeek posts here and here, and ogle at my gorgeous new personalised notebook here.
See you tomorrow!
