Hello lovelies!
It occurred to me that I haven’t actually got that many fashion posts on my blog at the moment, which is a bit ridiculous because I am obsessed with clothes. I think it’s because beauty items are just more accessible and better for treating yourself on a budget (as you can see from my Lunchtime Haul series!) However, as there’s always something in the world of fashion that I am lusting after, I thought I would start to share these wish lists with you all! This time:
I have been obsessing over finding the perfect, purse-friendly boyfriend coat/duster jacket/collarless coat to wear in the spring, other than my Oasis parka (which I genuinely live in as it has detachable lining and a big fluffy hood!). I just want something that can be thrown on, and dressed up or down, which will take me into the summer months when I can just cover up with a cardigan! This is why any of the above styles will do. However, it has to be under £50 (ideally under £40) so I can carry on saving for all my little holidays I have planned (read all about my plans here). Some of these options (I’m looking at you, Miss Selfridge, Missguided!) aren’t as affordable, but I’m still lusting after them nonetheless.
From left to right:
Miss Selfridge Mono Duster Jacket £35
Miss Selfridge Floral Jacquard Duster £65
Miss Selfridge Crepe Duster Coat £59
New Look Lilac Crepe Pocket Front Collared Coat £39.99
New Look Pink Textured Duster Coat £29.99
New Look White Textured Collarless Coat £19.99
Missguided Oversized Contrast Lapel & Cuff Duster Jacket Camel £50
Missguided Hether Textured Tailored Boyfriend Coat Blush £60
Pretty Little Thing Hope Lilac Boyfriend Coat £40
Pretty Little Thing Lucia Camel Lightweight Boyfriend Coat £40
H&M Textured Weave Coat Black Patterned £29.99
H&M Textured Weave Coat Cream £29.99
I absolutely love all of these options, but the ones I definitely think are more wearable, are the plainer styles that aren’t patterned. My friend has the gorgeous H&M Textured Weave Black Patterned Coat, but I think for me I would love it in cream! The Miss Selfridge Crepe Duster Coat in Pale Blue is my favourite of the bunch, but at over £50 even with student discount, I’ll have to consign it to the wardrobe of my dreams…
When I get a coat, I wear it a lot, so I really do need to listen to my head over my heart and get a colour that goes with everything! I’m going to Leeds next Saturday for a shopping trip, and I’m going to treat myself to one of these (or anything else I come across!) just in time for mine and George’s anniversary trip away to Northumberland, although I may actually need to wear my parka more than a duster jacket unless we get a nice bit of warmer weather!
What are your favourites from my picks? Have you bought a nice spring-time jacket yet? If you’ve written a post about it I’d love to see!
Have a great weekend everyone :)
